The swagger on this guy is beyond anything you've seen in a long time - does the hype (his own) match up to the show?
I was blown away by last year's show and certain that Ronny would sell out this year, I booked tickets pretty early on in my MICF planning phase.
Believe the hype people.
There's an idea comedians talk about often (in the trillion comedy podcasts I listen to) about not being really truly good until you've done your 10,000 hours on stage. I'm pretty sure Ronny graduated from the world's 5th best law school and had it nailed in 10 hours - well at least that's what he makes it look like.
The barely controlled rage that underpins this confident style, lets the audience let off steam at the stupidity in the world and within ourselves vicariously. This is a more personal show than last year's which was a pleasant surprise. The deft hand that Ronny deals to racism and cultural stereotypes give new comedic possibilities in an area that can quickly become hack in the hand of a less experienced comedian.
Ronny knows what he's talking about and you'll be kicking yourself if you miss the chance for him to tell you quite simply - that you don't.
