The festival line ups for these live records are always cracking, Saturday's was no exception. Andy Lee of Hamish & Andy, Scott Dooley formerly of Triple J, Nova FM and co-creator of The Green Light Boys were joined on stage by the always brilliant Anne 'Eddo' Edmonds along side host Steele Saunders.
If you're not a podcast fan (what's wrong with you?) don't worry - these shows are great even if you don't get some of the inside jokes that regular listeners will.
So why would you go if you don't listen to this (or any other) podcast?
Depending on the guests, you can get anything from amazing karaoke rifs by legends like Greg Fleet and Lawrence Mooney (ep162) to Saturday's unexpected tale from Andy Lee that caused Dools to walk off stage in sympathy pains. I won't spoil it for you - because the great thing is - they're all recorded for your listening pleasure.
For listeners of the podcast, you should go because it's fun and also because you get more than 52 hours of free content from Steele every year and it's the least you can do! Also this weeks Mr Black is a very special someone.
Everyone else, aside from the great laughs and surprise entertainment industry stories, its a great way to see a selection of comedians and decide if you'd like to see their solo shows, I booked tickets to see Anne Edmonds last year after having heard her on this podcast and it was a great show - I can't fit her 2015 show in - but look at this great review I think you should if you can!
